Thousands of citizens from Jakarta and its surrounding areas began to throng the Jakarta Bersorak Concert held in Monas area, Gambir, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (9/8).

Jakarta Bersorak Concert Committee Chief Executive, Tymoty Sidik said as many as 70 musicians and 70 choirs would perform in the concert.
Those performers would bring classical music such as Mozart, Bethoven, national songs, etc.

"Hopefully similar event can be held every year in Jakarta," he hoped.
